Police Received 8 Prank Calls, Including A Bomb Hoax, During Andy Lau’s Hong Kong Concert

Heavenly King Andy Lau, 63, wrapped up his Today…is the Day tour on January 10, playing his final concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

Sadly, Andy’s last show saw the Hong Kong police involved, no thanks to one devious prank caller.

According to reports, the police received a call at 8.51pm, just half an hour after Andy began performing.

The caller, who claimed to be a staff member of the Coliseum, said that an electrical line had caught fire backstage and that they had hurt themselves in the accident.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene, only to find no fire at all.

The police received another call one minute after the firefighters left the scene.

This time, the caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked outside the Coliseum.

A minute after that, they received a third call informing them of a fight happening in the Coliseum.

The police arrived at the scene, and after a thorough investigation, confirmed that both calls were false alarms.
