Song plays respected orchestral conductor Sung-jin, who is reeling from the recent disappearance of his glamorous fiancée, Su-yeon (Cho).
The star cellist in his orchestra and spoiled daughter of its owner, Su-yeon left only a video message claiming she was not ready for marriage and was returning to Europe. However, there is no evidence she has left Korea, or even used her credit cards, suggesting that foul play cannot be ruled out.
Enter the beautiful Mi-ju (Park Ji-hyun), an old friend of Su-yeon’s who is also a cellist. She claims that Su-yeon asked her to fill in for her, and Sung-jin is instantly smitten. After welcoming her into the string section, Sung-jin invites Mi-ju home for a nightcap, and the pair end up in bed together.
At this moment the truth is revealed. Su-yeon is not missing at all, but camped out in a secret room within their newly renovated home, where she plans to surveil her would-be husband.
