SMil Chinese Period Drama Mocked For Showing Car And Iron Railings In The Background

Popular Chinese fantasy period drama franchise Sword and Fairy 4 has been one of the most anticipated shows in a while.

With its impressive 320mil yuan (S$60.2mil) budget and a star-studded cast that includes Ju Jingyi, Chen Zheyuan and Mao Zijun, fans had high expectations.

However, viewers were not impressed from the first episode and were quick to point out the poor production quality and had comments about the “cheap-looking scenery” and “plasticky-looking leaves”.

And if you thought the Starbucks cup in a Game of Thrones episode was bad, what appeared in Sword and Fairy 4 is arguably worse.

In one battle scene, viewers noticed iron railings prominently showing in the background while a silver-white car was spotted behind the actors as the credits rolled.

Yes, the car can be seen during the ending credits of every episode.
