If there’s one person who’s the epitome of grace, it’s Sandy Lam.
Recently, the 58-year-old Hong Kong singer made a rare appearance in Singapore for the opening of the Kim Robinson flagship store at Ngee Ann City.
Sandy and the Australian Hong Kong-based hair maestro have been pals for over three decades, and she specially flew to Singapore to show her support.
Since 2019, the singer has faded out of showbiz. Her last public appearance in Singapore was in 2016 for her Pranava concert tour.
(Fun fact: Sandy was also at opening of Kim’s first hair salon in Singapore in 1995.)
Some fans were also lucky enough to catch the star after the event while she was waiting for her car.
A fan had shared a video of Sandy at Ngee Ann City’s pick-up/drop-off point. Next to the singer was a man who is presumably her assistant.
She was quickly recognised by fans and she could be seen turning around to smile and wave at them.
When the fan who posted the video told her to have a pleasant evening, Sandy put her hands together and bowed. She also said: “Thank you, thank you”.
“The gentlest ‘thank you’ can only come from the gentlest Sandy! Lam!,” wrote the fan.
