Shye, whose dad is British, and mum, Singaporean-Chinese, is a familiar name in music circles here and has been performing since the age of 10.
In fact, she first wowed audiences in Mediacorp kid talent search competition okto Star in 2012 when she performed Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’ during the auditions.
Since then, Shye has released four EPs, a full-length album, and was part of the 2021 National Day song, ‘The Road Ahead’.
Her song ‘Love You’ from her 2020 album Days to Morning Glory has also garnered more than three million plays on streaming platform Spotify.
Most recently, Shye competed in the Chinese reality singing show Youth Pi Plan where she made it to the semi-finals performing her own song, ‘Welcome Back’.
