All pet owners wish they can communicate with their furkids, but this particular paw-rent from Taiwan doesn’t have to.
In a video that went viral on Threads, a man was seen lying on his couch, and playing with his phone. Next to him was his cat.
The kitty then jumped off the sofa, walked over to a mat on the other side of the living room. On the mat was a series of buttons, and the cat pressed one of them.
A voice from the mat then says “clean up poop” in Mandarin.
The man’s immediate response was to say to the cat “Did you even poop?” before sitting up to check the litter box.
“Oh you did,” he said as the cat meowed.
Instead of cleaning up the litter box immediately, the man just sat up and continued using his phone. He also murmured to the cat that he would get to it eventually.
The cat was then seen making its way back to the mat.
This time, it pressed a different button and a voice could be heard saying: “Now”.
Seeing how impatient his cat was getting, the man chuckled and said: “Okay!” before finally getting up from the couch.
Netizens were impressed by the method of communication between the man and his cat, with many saying the cat “should go to university”.
“It’s smarter than my son,” joked one netizen.
Now what we want to know is, where can one find that mat with talking buttons?
