We are today years old that we realised that peacocks like peanuts.
A netizen was chilling at the guest lounge of Capella Singapore and enjoying her drink and snacks when she had a close encounter with a peacock.
“This peacock descended from the sky at Capella to steal my peanuts. This guy jumped down from the second floor, and its target was super clear,” she wrote.
In the clip she shared, the peacock was seen walking hesitantly towards her table before jumping on it to pick at the peanuts, eventually finishing off half of the platter.
The netizen remained completely calm and patient the whole time and even moved her drink out of the peacock’s way.
Her comments section was filled with people in awe of the peacock’s beauty, with one writing: “I would totally love to touch it if it doesn’t bite.”
However, the netizen was told to not do that so as the peacock might bite should it feel threatened.
Others were impressed by the peacock’s intelligence, with one joking: “This proves that if you are pretty, you can get food anywhere.”
