Lest you didn’t know, popular Taiwanese host Matilda Tao lives in Singapore as “study mama”, whereby she’s accompanying her son who’s studying here.
But she might be leaving soon.
And before that, she spoke about a problem you probably didn’t expect.
Taiwanese Host Matilda Tao Speaks About Ants Problem & Posts Cryptic Post About “Leaving S’pore” Soon
Tao has taken to social media to address a common Singapore household issue – ants. The TV personality shared a video showing tiny ants invading leftover food in her home.
In her social media post, Tao described how the small insects would even “commit suicide” in her water dispenser. The desperate mom reached out to her followers for solutions to tackle these persistent pests.
But in a separate social media update on Threads, Tao seemed to imply that her Singapore stay might be ending soon. She posted a photo of her husband Lee Li-ren with their dog, noting that her role as an education-supporting parent is coming to an end. “I’ll be home soon,” she wrote, reflecting on the emotional challenges of family separation during her time in Singapore.
I don’t know what is more surprising; she leaving Singapore, or that people still use Threads.
