This time, a 17-year-old fried chicken seller in Samut Prakan is drawing crowds due to her resemblance to the ‘Lalisa’ singer.
Kulthida aka Yeehwa, who is a Matthayom 5 student from Taphanhin School in Phichit, first started garnering attention after a food blogger posted videos and pictures of her in action.
The video has since chalked up more than 1 million views on TikTok, with many comparing her features to the famous singer.
“If I didn’t take a closer look, I would have thought Lisa has a new side hustle,” joked a netizen.
Some online users also couldn’t help but comment that Yeehwa “can debut as an artiste now” and that “she will be famous”.
Yeehwa’s eye-catching looks have also drawn the attention of content creators.
For instance, a famous Thai make-up artist and cosmetics brand owner gave her a makeover – transforming her to look like the pop star in her latest ‘Rockstar’ music video.
However, you might be in for disappointment should you now want to catch the teen frying up a fresh batch of fried chicken.
According to her mum who runs the stall, Yeehwa only helps during the school holidays and has since returned to Phichit.
In a recent interview with a Thai daily, Yeehwa shyly said she is “happy and excited to resemble an admired singer like Lisa”.
She also shared that she has participated in talent events in school, and will consider joining showbiz should the opportunity arise.
