24/7 Vending Machine in Tampines Offering Consultations, Medication and MCs
On Friday (6 December), a TikTok about a vending machine in Tampines drew the attention of many Singaporeans. The vending machine is none other than the Dr Kart vending machine.

The machine, which is located at Shell Station in Tampines, operates 24/7 to provide consultation services, medication, and MCs.
Perfect for when you’re sick in the middle of the night but don’t feel like paying the hefty consultation fee at a 24/7 clinic.
Also perfect for people who wake up late in the morning and need an excuse to skip work — I mean, people who are sick.
How to Use the Dr Kart Vending Machine
So, how exactly do you use this machine? Well, there’s only a few steps that you need to follow.
First, when you reach the machine, you’ll have to register with your NRIC or SingPass. After doing so, all you have to do is to pick up the phone by the side of the machine, and speak with the doctor on the other end of the line for a consultation.
So, the usual lah — listing your symptoms and all. But don’t start ranting to the doctor about your life lah, hor?
Once you’re done with the teleconsultation, you can make payment via credit or debit cards, mobile payment apps or NETS cards accepted by the machine.
Next, you can collect your medication instantly from the vending machine liao.
From photos uploaded on Google Maps, it appears that the medication labels will also state the medication name, dosage instructions, as well as the medication’s expiry date.
So, you don’t have to worry too much about how trustworthy Dr Kart is lah. After all, it is licensed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Health Sciences Authority (HSA).
And if the doctor deems that you need an MC, a digital MC will be sent to your email.
According to an Instagram post made by Dr Kart, from registration to collecting medicine, the whole process should take only between eight to 16 minutes.
Faster than polyclinic, for sure.

According to Dr Kart’s website, you can visit the vending machine if you have ailments such as the common cold, high blood pressure, diabetes, various skin conditions, and more.

Currently, there is only one Dr Kart vending machine islandwide, located at Shell Station at 9 Tampines Ave 2. However, it seems that more locations will be rolled out gradually.
