This Adorable Group Of Boys Share Why Woodlands Is The Best Neighbourhood In Singapore

When you think of places to hang out in Singapore, Woodlands probably isn’t one of the places on the top of your list… unless you live in the area.

In fact, on more than one occasion, we’ve heard people say: “Go Woodlands? Might as well go JB.”

Well, enter this group of young boys.

During a street interview with real estate TikTok page HomesinHD, the boys, who look to be in primary school, were asked: “Do you think Woodlands is the best neighbourhood in Singapore?”

Without any hesitation, the boys, four of whom live in Woodlands and one in Marsiling, unanimously shouted yes.

When asked why they think so, one grinning boy said it was because “every resident is very friendly”.

His friend then added that “there are lots of places to explore and visit” within the neighbourhood, with the others suggesting spots like Admiralty Park, Woodlands Waterfront Park, and Causeway Point.

They were also asked to use a word or phrase to describe Woodlands.

Their response?

“Nice”, “Wonderful”, and “I love it”.

They also shared some ‘hidden gems’ of their neighbourhood. Their answers were rather random, but they get a free pass for being so adorable.

“Got a lot of fixie [fixed gear bicycles],” said one boy while his friend announced: “A lot of footballers out there.”

The interviewer then clarified that he was asking for a specific place, with the boys collectively agreeing on Mandai Tekong Park, which is located in a residential area at Woodlands Ave 5.

The park boasts a basketball court, fitness corners, playgrounds, a running track and a street soccer court.

The super energetic group were so happy to be interviewed, they even helped the page plug “like and follow” at the end of the clip.

Man, we wish we had their enthusiasm when it came to promoting our own neighbourhoods.
