For someone in her 50s, Taiwanese actress Annie Yi is undeniably well-maintained.
Sadly, that’s still not enough to shield her from netizens and their merciless ageist comments.
Last week, the actress, who turned 56 yesterday (Mar 4), threw herself a princess-themed birthday party.
Annie wore a baby pink low-cut princess gown and had a tiara on her head.
Her fans showered the star with compliments, with one even effusing: “How is she 56? She’s still a 20-year-old young girl.”
The haters, however, disagree.
“How much did she spend on her face?,” snarked one such netizen, while another chastised: “So shameless to be wearing this outfit at 56.”
Another said: “She’s obviously trying too hard to look young”.
Thankfully, Annie was not at all affected by the haters and their harsh comments.
“I’ve been vain my entire life, it didn’t only happen at this age. I’ve been doing this since I was a young, I didn’t only start now,” she said.
That’s right, don’t let anyone dim your sparkle, Annie!
