Taiwanese singer-rapper Wilber Pan is no stranger to being fat-shamed by the Internet.
Remember how the 44-year-old was ridiculed for looking chubbier in person than his official concert photos last year?
But now, Wilber has something to celebrate. During a recent livestream, he proudly revealed that he had shed 7kg in just one month, even showing off his jawline multiple times.
It’s not the first time Wilber has undergone a transformation. Back in 2022, he lost nearly 20kg in less than three months.
“Am I too skinny now?” he jokingly asked his fans.
Then, as if anticipating accusations of using a camera filter, he added a disclaimer that he had switched off the face-slimming effect.
So, is he admitting that he had used filters previously?
The ‘To Be Loved’ singer was flooded with questions on how he managed his impressive weight loss.
For exercise, he shared he plays tennis four times a week. To stay hydrated, he even bought a large bottle to make sure he drank 2.2 litres of water daily.
His diet was equally strict, consisting of just 20g of noodles with six slices of beef, along with as much vegetables as he wanted.
He also gave up his habit of eating instant noodles and allowed himself one to two cups of black coffee each day.
When cravings hit, Wilber turns to videos of competitive eaters.
We can’t help but wonder if Singapore’s very own competitive eater Zermatt Neo made it onto that playlist.
Wilber’s weight loss didn’t go unnoticed.
He shared that an auntie who works at an airport lounge complimented him on his results and he was “very happy”.
But Wilber’s journey isn’t over. During the livestream, he revealed plans to lose another 5kg to 7kg before the start of his Mad Love 2.0 tour, which kicks off in Beijing on Apr 5.
With his leaner look, will he still update his concert photos during the tour?
