We’ve all heard our fair share of stories about the paranormal, with some of these unexplainable incidents even being caught on video.
But few ghostly encounters have managed to creep us out more than this one.
A Malaysian woman, who goes by the handle @srijuju on TikTok, recently posted a clip, which she titled “Am I seeing this right?”, that captured a strange figure in her car.
The video sees Srijuju panning her camera to her rear view mirror… only to show what appears to be the long-haired figure in the backseat of her car.
According to Srijuju, she was travelling alone and caught in the middle of a jam.
The entire video might have only been six seconds long, but that was enough to send chills down our spine. In fact, this writer had to mute the creepy background audio to be able to sit through it.
Netizens were equally spooked by the encounter.
“I would have gotten out of the car,” read one of many similar comments, while another said that they would “never dare to look in the rear view mirror again”.
One netizen managed to find some comedy in the situation, joking that Srijuju had picked up “a Grab passenger”.
Others also advised her to “close her eyes” and “keep calm”. But really, would you be able to maintain your composure when faced with such a terrifying sight?
Now, we’ll like to see skeptics give a logical explanation to this encounter.
