Woman Who Ignored Ron Ng’s Handshake Says She Was Told Not To Have No Physical Contact With The HK Actor

Hong Kong actor Ron Ng was recently in Malaysia to promote his latest movie Deliverance.

He has many fans there but the 44-year-old was caught in an awkward situation during a meet-and-greet at the movie’s premiere.

A female fan standing next to Ron during a group photo is seen quickly walking off without giving him a second look.

If she had turned, she would have seen the actor extending his right hand for a handshake only to be ignored by her.

In the video of the incident, Ron seemed to be playing it up a little as he continued holding his hand out while gazing blankly after his clueless fan.

Many found the clip hilarious while others were less impressed and took jabs at the female fan calling her rude for leaving as soon as the photo was taken.

An empathetic few retorted by saying she might have been too happy in the moment to realise Ron Ng’s out-stretched hand.

Naturally, the fan caught wind of the discussion online.

Going by the name of Jianning on Instagram, she shared more about her regretful experience.

“I saw the super handsome Ron Ng and was arranged to be in a group photo,” she said.

“I couldn’t take my time because there was a queue and I got really nervous once the picture was taken and quickly left without noticing Ron wanted to shake hands with me,” she added.

Jianing also said that the minders specifically told fans there will be “no physical contact,” she said.

She later posted the video of the incident to her Instagram with the caption, “Ron Ng… I really didn’t mean to… Give me one more chance and I will bravely look at you more.”

After reminding everyone to catch Deliverance, she pleaded, “Help me make it up to Ron Ng!”
