Yes 933 DJs Hazelle Teo, 30, Gao Mei Gui, 33, and Jeff Goh, 40, were the latest guests on Dishing With Chris Lee. As expected, the trio brought their on-air camaraderie to the show, ensuring there was barely a dull moment while host Christopher Lee whipped up a hearty seafood feast.

While preparing the ingredients for Chris’ fried fish, Mei Gui decided to dish about her The Daka Show co-host Jeff’s lesser known hobbies.

“Jeff is actually multi-talented leh,” she said, prompting Jeff to reveal his musical abilities, which include playing the organ, the violin, and the drums.

“I’m pretty good at things that don’t involve studying,” said a humble Jeff, who added that he used to be on his school’s basketball team. He also enjoys electronic gaming, and even participated in a competition where he won vouchers.

Hazelle then said: “Jeff is very a very interesting person, because he always has lots to say, but he’s actually an introvert.”

This surprised Chris, who never expected the high-energy, always enthusiastic jock to be introverted.

“When you get to know Jeff personally, [you’d see that] he’s a really serious person. When you see him constantly laughing in front of the camera, he’s playing along to suit the situation,” said Hazelle.

Mei Gui agreed with Hazelle’s observation of Jeff. She said: “A lot of people may think that Jeff is a happy-go-lucky, playful, and fun-loving person. But when our mics are off, he’s actually really quiet. At times, you don’t even know what he’s thinking, but when you need him to bring his energy, he will always give his 101 percent.”

Like Jeff, Mei Gui is an introvert as well. Hazelle and Chris, on the other hand, are very extroverted.

Chris shared: “I’ve always been [an extrovert], but after getting married and having a kid, I’ve become a bit more of a family person. Otherwise, in the past, I wouldn’t be at home for all seven days of the week.”

He added: “I think extroverted people are more likely to meet rejection or cause trouble. But I feel like we learn from our mistakes fast. Like if you were to leave me at a remote place to survive alone, I’m totally okay with that, and I can turn the experience into something I’ll enjoy.”

Hazelle completely agreed with Chris’ explanation. Jeff then revealed that he is unable to do anything alone.

“I’ve never watched a movie alone. I’ve never been overseas alone either,” he said.
