Your Hong Kong weekend food guide to the best places to eat from November 29 to December 1

Clockenflap takes place this weekend, but for anyone who does not plan on attending the music and arts festival on the Central harbourfront on Hong Kong Island, read on for our dining recommendations for the weekend.

1. Sabatini’s white truffle menu

It really is the most wonderful time of year when truffles, the “white diamonds” of Italy, grace the tables of Hong Kong. A batch from Alba, a town in Italy’s Piedmont region, has arrived at Sabatini Ristorante Italiano at The Royal Garden hotel for its legendary white truffle menu.
Sink your teeth into dishes such as home-made tagliolini in butter and Parmesan cheese sauce, or scrambled egg on toast with Hokkaido scallops. All courses are served with generous shavings of the prestigious truffle.

2. The Stage’s afternoon tea

The music bar on the second floor of The Heritage Woo Cheong Pawn Shop in Wan Chai now offers a weekend afternoon tea. Items include charcoal mini buns with lobster tartare, vol-au-vents with duck liver mousse, poultry terrine on toasted brioche bread, and crispy spinach and mozzarella cheese nuggets. Oysters are an option, too.

Wash it all down with their selection of festive cocktails.
